Here at Truman Middle School, we take pride in providing exciting, engaging and culturally responsive instruction in an optimum learning environment. We set high expectations for all students by challenging them with rigorous lessons as well as providing high school credit opportunities, class promotion, and online options for extended academic growth. Along with academic advancement, Truman staff prioritizes social emotional support through the focused advisory period. This class period effectively teaches life competencies including social skills, goal setting, self-awareness, relationship building, and coping strategies. We encourage parents, students, and community partners to actively participate in shaping Truman’s climate and culture to reach shared goals.
